My name is Adler, and I’m a popcorn fanatic! (FYI—I’m the tall one. The other kid is my little brother, Axel.) He’s too young to be an official employee of Popin’ and Bopin’, but let’s just say he takes his job as Director of Quality Controlvery seriously. He works for free samples, so it’s a win-win.
Like most families, we love movie nights, and our go-to snack was always good ol’ movie theater butter popcorn. It’s easy, delicious, and (sort of) healthy… or so we thought.
One day, I got curious about what was actually in our popcorn. What I found was shocking—many brands use seed oils, artificial flavors, and PFAS-lined bags (yeah, those are the ones linked to cancer… yikes!). But instead of giving up my favorite snack, I made it better.
I swapped the bad stuff for grass-fed butter, a touch of coarse sea salt, and a PFAS-free popping method. After some trial and error, I perfected the recipe, and just like that, Popin’ and Bopin’ Gourmet Popcorn was born! My family loved it so much that I decided to share it with the world.
